• = Լտ. dolabra «մի տեսակ գործիք, որ ծառայում է իբր կացին, տապար կամ բրիչ քար կոտրելու, փայտ կամ միս ջարդելու հա-մար». ծագում dola «հարթել, կտրել, տա-շել» բայից.-յունարէնի միջոցո՞վ անցած t հաւեռէնի. Sophocles չունի այս բառը մի-ջին յունարէնի բառարանում։-Հիւբշ. 345։
• ՓՈԽ.-Վրաց. დალაბრა դալաբրա «կա-ցին, բրիչ» (Չուբինովի 2-րդ տպագրութեան մէջ դրւում է «туnoй, բութ»), որից գամո-դալաբրվա «փորել, խոռոչել», շեմոդալա-բրվա «փորել, կտրտել».-վրացին ենթադրե-լի է հայերէնից՝ առաջին ա-ի պատճառաւ, որ լատիներէնում o է։
