(չունի ՆՀԲ). նոր բառեր են՝ ճակատագրա-կան, ճակատազարդ, ճակատանոց, ճակատ-ոսկր ևն։ Այստեղ է պատկանում նաև հա-կատիլ «մի բան ձեռքից փախչելով ուժգնա-պէս զարնուիլ». նորագիւտ բառ, որ մէկ ան-գամ գտնում եմ գործածուած Վրք. և վկ. բ. 445. «Եւ ի տանջելն զինւորացն զարդարն, զմիմեանց կառափունս հարկանէին և ճա-կատեալ մի ի գաւազանացն՝ եհաս յերեսս թագաւորին և ի բաց խլեաց զբիբ ական նորա»։

[arabic word] aruz, վրաց. ორიზა որիզա, բո-լորն էլ «բրինձ» նշանակութեամբ, իսկ լազ. oriza «ձաւար»։ Բառիս բուն ծագումը Քոչին-չինից է, ուր բրինձը աճում է մեծ առատու-թեամբ և վայրենի վիճակի մէջ (Boisacq 712). այստեղից բառը նիւթի հետ անցել է Հնդկաստան (հմմտ. վեդ. vrīhi-«բրինձ»). յետոյ Պարսկաստան (հմմտ. իրանեան նա-խաձևը *vrinǰi-, առանց ռնգականի աֆղան. vrizē), որից փոխառեալ է յունարէնը (ար-սէն ն. Ք. Ե դարից) և որից էլ տարածուել է ամբողջ Եւրոպա։ Հայերէնի մէջ պարսկական աղբիւրից փոխառեալ է բրինձ, յունականից որիզ, արաբականից էլ ռուզ, ըռուզ (Horn § 208)։-Հիւբշ. 369։
