• = Իբրև Հայաստանի ո՛չ բնիկ մի անա-սունի անուն՝ անշուշտ փոխառեալ է. մեր հարևան լեզուներից ո՛չ մէկի մէջ չկայ նման մի բառ. ունինք սակայն արաբ. [arabic word] ja-zur «ուղտ կամ ուղտի ձագ», յոգն. [arabic word] ǰuzur «ուդտեր»։ Այս բառը բնիկ սեմական է, որին ապացոյց են նոյն արմատիո ռևած բազմաթիւ ածանցները արաբերէնի մէջ. ինչ. [arabic word] ǰazīr. «ուղտի միս ծախող». [arabic word] maǰzar «ուղտ մորթելու տեղ», օ [arabic word] ǰuzara «մորթուած ուղտի չորս ոտքը և վի-զը, ուղտ մորթող մսագործին տրուած վարձ-քը»։ Սրանից է փոխառեալ նաև պրս. [arabic word] faōr կամ [arabic word] ǰadr «չորս տարեկան ուղտ»։ Բայց որովհետև արաբերէնից չէինք կարող փոխառութիւններ ունենալ Ե դարումն և ձևով էլ նման չէ արաբականին, ուստի իբրև աղբիւր պէտք է դնել մեզ հարևան մի ուրիշ սեմական լեզու։ Հաւանաբար, ինչ-պէս ուղտ, նոյնպէս և կոզռն փոխառութիւն է ասուրերէնից։ Չայնական փոփոխութեանց համար հմմտ. կղզի=արաբ. օ [arabic word] lazi-ra։-Աճ.
